Summary
Case Log by OA collects no personal information. Everything you enter stays on your device. The app has no servers, no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. We never see, receive, or transmit your data.
Information We Collect
None. Case Log by OA does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. All content you create — case logs, procedure and skill entries, hours of care, and your profile fields (name, rank, credentials, and AFSC) — is stored locally on your device only using the device’s standard on-device storage.
No Patient Information
The app is designed to contain no protected health information (PHI). It provides no fields for patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, or other identifiers. Each case is labeled with a randomly generated, non-identifying code. Users are responsible for not entering identifying information into free-text fields.
How Your Data Is Used
Your data is used solely to display and organize your logbook within the app and to generate exports (PDF and spreadsheet/CSV) that you choose to share through your device’s share sheet. Those exports are created on your device and sent only where you direct them.
Data Sharing
We do not share your data with anyone, because we do not have access to it. No data is sent to us or to any third party.
Data Retention & Deletion
Because your data lives only on your device, you control it entirely. You can delete individual cases within the app at any time, or remove all data by deleting the app from your device.
Subscriptions
If a paid subscription is offered, payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple’s handling of that transaction is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
Children’s Privacy
Case Log by OA is intended for clinical professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page.
