USAF PT Tracker is a free iPhone app for logging daily unit physical training. Workouts fill in automatically from Apple Watch and Apple Health, members answer one daily question about PT time, and commanders get a live dashboard plus one-tap Excel exports.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I join my unit?

Your commander sends an invite link by email or text, or posts a QR code. Install the app, complete the short profile (rank and name), then open the invite link or scan the QR code with your iPhone camera. You’ll be connected automatically — no account or password needed, just the Apple ID already on your phone.

My workout isn’t showing up

Check three things: (1) Health access — Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > PT Tracker, make sure Workouts and Exercise Minutes are allowed; (2) open the app or pull down to refresh — syncing happens when the app runs; (3) make sure the workout was actually recorded in Apple Fitness/Health. You can always log the day manually by tapping it.

I’m not getting the 1630 notification

Settings > Notifications > PT Tracker — make sure notifications are allowed. Focus modes and silenced delivery can delay them. Missed days stay marked yellow, and you can answer anytime from the app or widget.

How do I add the widget?

Long-press your home screen, tap the + button, search “USAF PT Tracker,” and add the small or medium widget. It shows today’s status and lets you answer the PT-time question with one tap.

Commanders: where is the Excel export?

On the Unit tab, tap the share icon in the top right. The export includes every reporting member, your imported roster, color coding, dropdowns, and per-member totals. To import a roster, tap your unit’s name at the top > Edit Roster.

How do I leave a unit or remove a member?

Members: gear icon > My Units > swipe left on a unit > Leave. Your recorded data stays on your phone. Commanders: swipe left on a member in the Unit tab > Remove.
